Mem V. Stein - Vocals

Mem founded his first band in Wiesbaden/Germany in 1984, called TARTAROS and disbanded the project after recording one demo in order to form a band that was rooted in the U.S. thrash tradition.

Along with guitarist Ray Mensh, Mem established EXUMER in 1985 and pursued different musical projects after leaving the band in late 1986. Among the many bands that Mem was involved in were hardcore metal crossover projects such as PHOBIC INSTINCT and OF RYTES, but also rap metal outfit HUMUNGOUS FUNGUS, where he reunited with ex-EXUMER guitarists Ray Mensh and Bernie Siedler.

After re-locating to NYC in 1998, Mem formed the old school thrash metal band SUN DESCENDS in 2000, and finally re-launched EXUMER in 2008, along with Ray Mensh and ex-member Paul Arakaki.

Ray Mensh - Guitars

Co-EXUMER founder and accomplished guitarist Ray Mensh has been active in EXUMER from the beginning when vocalist / bassist Mem V. Stein asked Ray to form a thrash metal outfit that would incorporate influences of their favorite bands at the time, until the band's dissolve in 1991.

Ray re-united with Mem and Bernie Siedler and was instrumental in writing most of HUMUNGOUS FUNGUS' music as he has been responsible for the musical direction of all the projects that he has been a part of.

Ray and Bernie moved on to form a rock band called SEPTEMBER after Mem re-located to NYC and HF disbanded in 1998.

After leaving SEPTEMBER in early 2007, Ray did not waste any time when Mem called him in late 2007 to reunite EXUMER with the two original founding members at the helm. Ray has since EXUMER's resurrection been spewing out countless riffs that were finally recorded on what became EXUMER's 3rd album, Fire and Damnation.

H.K. - Guitars

H.K. is an exceptional guitarist who has been teaching guitar in the greater Frankfurt area for years.

A long time EXUMER fan, he did not hesitate to rise to the occasion when Ray Mensh asked him if he would fill in the shoes of former guitarist Paul Arakaki who decided to leave EXUMER after the "5 Nights of Fire" tour in 2009.

H.K. has been with EXUMER since early 2010 and is an active member on stage and in the studio where he delivers blistering guitar attacks in an impressive fashion.

T. Schiavo - Bass, Backing Vocals

T. has been a mainstay in the NYC underground metal scene since 1989 and is a multitalented musician who plays almost all instruments. He has been responsible for some of the most crushing acts coming out of New York City such as PROPHYRIA, HEMLOCK and TERROR OF THE TREES.

T. has also worked with Mem V. Stein during their 12 year friendship on producing albums for SUN DESCENDS and actively writing material for EXUMER since he joined the band in 2008.

Mem had asked T. to join the band on bass in order to compliment the band's line-up for the "5 Nights of Fire" tour and he has remained in EXUMER's constant roster ever since, always pushing the band's envelope and developing outstanding ideas for new material.

Matthias K. - Drums

Matthias joined EXUMER in 2010 and has been a driving force in and outside the band ever since he began playing drums for the band.

A sought after musician and drum tech, Matthias not only manages to play in several bands at the time, but also runs his own drum shop House of Drums, as well as his own metal bar Mysteria in and around the area that is known in Germany as the "Ruhrpott".

Matthias' ferocious drum barrages have been a focal point on Fire & Damnation, and have been quoted as such in many positive album reviews where Matthias showcases some of the genres straightest and powerful drumming today.
